Golshifteh Farahani as
Eowyn Ewunia, of the House of Phraates—a noblewoman and Bow-wife of Rohas, niece of the late King Tiridâta and sister to King Eamad. She spent much of her youth caring for her ailing uncle, yearning for an opportunity to prove herself in battle. Her longing drove her to disguise herself as a man and accompany the Rohatim to Minas Tirith, where she won great acclaim at the Battle of Pelennor Fields by slaying the Witch-King with the aid of Meriada Brandybuck. Recovering from her injuries in Gondor’s Houses of Healing, she met Faraleth, the Steward of Gondor, and the two were married soon after. They settled in Ithilien after the War of the Ring.
(part III in the series—after Lucy Liu as High Queen Arawend, and Angel Coulby as Bramble Baggins)
